Whilst we are now in Lockdown 3, pubs are allowed to provide takeaway and delivery services for meals and other provisions, but not beer sales. This is grossly unfair on our pubs and is an issue CAMRA is lobbying government to change. The better news, however, is that our breweries and cider-makers are allowed to provide off sales from their premises, as well as delivery services.

South Oxfordshire CAMRA has been in contact with all our pubs over the last week and around 40 are now providing a takeaway meals service at this time. This is a magnificent effort. We have updated our Directory of the takeaway services of all the pubs in our area to show the details of these pubs. So, if you fancy a break from cooking, there is likely to be a pub near you that is providing an excellent take home dining option, so please do consider this and continue to support your local pub.

Our local breweries and cider-makers are also continuing to provide drinks click and collect takeaway, off-sales and in many cases, free home delivery services. Details of these are also shown in the Directory.
