Great News - Our Pubs and Breweries are Opening Again!
It’s the news we have all been waiting for! Pubs and breweries have got the green light to re-open their outside areas for groups of up to six to enjoy a pint again from Monday 12th April. Although we have to wait until 17th May before we can venture inside for a beer, many of our pubs in South Oxfordshire are fortunate to have great gardens and outdoor drinking areas and are thus opening up from next week. The local South Oxfordshire CAMRA Branch has been in contact with all our pubs and we are anticipating that around 80 or so will be opening their gardens, terraces and patios over the coming weeks.
We have updated our Directory listing to show the re-opening details of all our pubs. This includes opening days and times as well as highlighting those that have gone to extraordinary lengths to set up heated and covered areas such as marquees, Bedouin tents! and pods, etc. Many pubs require pre-booking of tables, whereas others allow walk-ups. These details are also shown, where we have them. Many are also continuing to offer takeaway food and drinks services and these are also shown.
Quite a few pubs are still deciding when and how they can re-open and thus as ever, we are keeping the Directory as a live document and will be updating it frequently over the next few weeks. Please do check the links for each pub to find out further information and to book your table.
If you are able to, then please do get back to visiting your pub – they really do need your support and custom as they start to re-build their businesses.
