The rather retrospective presentation on 23rd October to Dave and Jane Dean, the former stewards of the bar at the Goring Social Club, of the Award from South Oxfordshire Branch CAMRA for Club of the Year 2020.

Dave and Jean were responsible for keeping an excellent range of real ales for a number of years and Goring Social Club was a regular fixture in recent Good Beer Guides as well as winning Club of the Year on multiple occasions. They retired in early 2021 whilst the Club was closed in lockdown, and returned just recently for a special presentation evening for them for their long service, which included being presented with the CAMRA Award, by CAMRA and Goring Social Club member, Ian King.
