Pub news:

• The Mulberry has reopened, having been taken over by Darren Sargison, who, with his partner, Ruth, continue to run the very successful Fleur de Lys in East Hagbourne. The future is therefore looking brighter at the Mulberry!
• The Plough, Long Wittenham, was planning to remain closed until March 2022, however luckily a change of heart from pub licensee, Liam Carberry, has resulted in the pub re-opening on the 3rd February 2022.
• The lease for the Greyhound Grill, Peppard Common, is currently being advertised.

Brewery news:

• Loddon Brewery has recently re-opened the tap yard and bar (Loddon Tap Yard) and has added a farm shop to the site.
• West Berkshire Brewery has been taken over by The Yattendon Group, which is a locally based private business owned by the Iliffe family; publishers of the Newbury Weekly News and Newbury Today newpapers and owners of Vicars Game.
