Deceptively large, smart casual dining pub close to the River Thames; significantly refurbished in early 2025.

The pub reopened on 6 June 2025 under new management. It is less than a minute walk over the bridge to Henley. Just the two cask-conditioned ales, with Brakspear Gravity being the regular beer, and one changing beer from the Brakspear Pub Co approved list.

It has a central bar area, with multiple rooms around it, all with new decor and smartly furnished, giving a light, airy, but comfortable feel to the pub. Wide ranging modern contemporary menu, using seasonal ingredients wherever possible, with everything freshly prepared. Steak is a speciality, and the Sunday carvery is very popular. However, snacks, including sandwiches, are also available.

Large courtyard garden for alfresco drinking and dining, which borders on to the Henley Cricket Club ground for those keen to take in a game during the summer months.
