Large town centre pub which is now one of Wetherspoon's flagship hotels. The left hand bar (from the main entrance), features nine handpumps in one bank of three, the other six - the regular beers - are on both banks with the three guest ales on the six bank; this bar is not always open. The right hand bar has a bank of six handpumps with the three regular beers and three guest ales and this bar is always open.
