Originally three flint cottages dating back to 1700s. The Cherry Tree has been a pub for over 200 years. Completely remodelled and renovated in 2012 with the addition of four en-suite letting rooms (in a converted barn to the side of the Inn) and the opening out of the bar area. Refurbished again in 2018 on arrival of new landlord Dan Redfern, it retains a traditional comfortable country-pub feel, whilst also looking fresh and modern. Although still a very welcoming pub, which includes a cask conditioned cider, the emphasis is on good food, using locally sourced, freshly cooked produce with a modern innovative style, which is a cut above ordinary pub grub. Regular dog-walking events held, with the pub's basset hound joining in
