Dating back to the 17th century, the Coach and Horses provides good food in four eating areas and a separate bar. Plenty of beams, brickwork and open log fires produce a good inn atmosphere: for summer drinking there is a large patio and lawn. To the rear of the pub, nine chalet-style bedrooms offer quality accommodation. Defibrillator available outside on the pub's wall facing the car park.

Reopened in May 2022 after refurbishment having closed in March 2022 and while ownership was transferred to the Barkby Pub Group.
