Regular beers: Amwell Springs Stay Jammy

See more about this pub on CAMRA's national web site

17th-century, Grade II-listed town pub retaining many original features such as exposed low beams, large fireplaces and an internal cellar. The large, fenced garden sits on probable Saxon-age town ramparts.

The house beer (Cross Keys - House Bitter, brewed by Amwell Springs) may be swapped with another local beer. Dark beers are often sold, plus limited edition beers from the Dead Brewers' Society.

Street food pop-ups are present at the rear of the pub from Wednesday to Sunday, the operators offer varying food choices - check the Facebook page for details including timings.

Reopened May 2022 having closed in April 2022 while the pub was refurbished inside and out following a change of ownership from the Brakspear pub co to Oak Taverns.
