The Half Moon is a Grade-II listed thatched pub with character. The changing Rebellion beer is either Smuggler or Overthrow. There is also a large sun trapped garden at the back for summer lunches. Italian food served. Reopened in 2015 after closure by Brakspear in 2014 and a failed attempt by the local community to raise money to buy it. The owners have another pub in South Mimms. Service charge may be added to drinks bought from the bar unless you request otherwise.
