With a single split-level bar and the exposed beams providing olde-worlde charm, the Lamb is a Grade II-listed 16th-century thatched inn nestling in the glorious Oxfordshire countryside on the A329 between Stadhampton and Thame. Plenty of outside seating is available, both on the patio and in the lovely walled garden.
The meals are from an à la carte menu with freshly made food from local suppliers and a curated wine list from small producers. On 2025 was awarded: entry in Michelin Guide; Luxlife Best Gastropub in Oxfordshire; two rosettes for culinary excellence from the AA. The Tuesday evening food is from a wood fired pizza oven pop-up in the car park.
There should be one changing beer from a local brewery at all times, but there may be two at weekends in the summer.
