A pleasant interior with wood panelling, low beams and a real fire opposite the small bar. A Loddon beer is always featured, making this the closest outlet to the brewery which is less than a mile north of the pub.

Opening times and food times on weekdays can vary as the pub is popular for group bookings. The website says that the pub is available for private functions on Mondays and Tuesday & Wednesday evenings.
