We are very pleased to announce that the winner of the Regional (Berks, Bucks, Oxfordshire) Pub of the Year for 2023 is The Butchers Arms Balscote, near Banbury in North Oxfordshire.

It is a splendid Hook Norton country pub that serves its three Hook Norton ales on gravity from pins, from a stillage behind the bar. It is also a most welcoming and community-focused pub. The pub will now go forward into the National phase of the competition, together with the 15 other Regional winners. Congratulations to all at the Butchers Arms!
